Rose Bridge is non-catholic and in the 60s and early 70s dominated schools rugby.
they had a follow on u17s team for leavers as well.
the team that won the Ken gee cup as Ince all blacks was i think composed of at least 10 Rose Bridgers. |

As for footballers, Andy Griffin who is captain at stoke went to Hawkley Hall with Terry Newton.

The legend that is Rob Smyth used to go to Rosebridge, he was in the year above me.
Melvin Alker is a mate of mine and as far as i am aware he is still at Blackpool.
Stephen Wild was at John fisher but he played fullback in the same RoseBridge sunday team as me. I think that Danny Sculthorpe may have also played there for a while (i remember a Big nowty get for a period of time!!)

Hawkley Hall had a good set up last year with Ryan King and Stefan Marsh(year before) going into the Wigan academy
A lot went off to different clubs such as Alex Marsh, Stuart Banks and some others
Andy Farrell also went there.
