I've seen them bomb a quarter final, bottle a semi final, finish as league leaders, but I've still, never, seen the Wire win the league

I was very disappointed when he got banned, not least for the shame and discredit he did himself.
The guy will have to win back not only the super league fans, but I'm guessing some Wigan fans too. All this can only be done with hard work, he never shirked responsibility in the past, so I don't see him doing it this time.
All being said, he was guilty of taking drugs and has taken the punishment with a certan amount of dignity, lets hope he learnt his lesson and is back to his best to help destroy the Aussie's at the end of the season.
P.S Also hope he's injured/banned/ill for the Wire game ![]()
great post. summed up my feelings exactly. i wont be applauding him any more than i will any of the other lads - in fact he's got to work a bit harder for me as i feel he owes this club big time by the discredit his actions brought. for the good of this team and the club i hope he is a success.

I'd love him to play some part this week but only if he's right. With no reserve games to blood him back in I would play hom on the bench. The lad was class before his ban and with all the Wigan support behind him I'm sure he will be class again. if does play I think he will hot hard in the tackle and run hard without taking chances with ordinate that are not on. Can't wait to see him back.

Expect anything more than 2 10 -15 minute spells and you'll be very dissapointed. What happens in them is anyones guess but id expect at least 1 dropped ball and missed tackle. Id have him defending at the side of Locky because hes going to try and knock someone into the stand and could miss.

Im hoping he comes in and does a decent job this season - enough so the Wigan fans dont get on his back. I imagine it will take him a while to get used to playing for Maguire, it will also be interesting to see how much he stands out in this current side, considering he was by far our best player when he got banned.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
