Exactly. I don't get the point he's trying to make in terms of him not being our best player. We watch our side every week and are telling him for certain that Sam is our best player. There's no need for bias on that call as they're all our player and we'll back the lot of them.

I wouldn't sit here and argue with a Wire fan if they said Monaghan was their best or a Saints fan if they said Roby was their main man because I don't watch them every week.

Sam Tomkins is the best player in SL. He will continue to demonstrate this and continue to earn the wrath of opposition fans as we move into the business end of the season.

He's a special talent, the best player to emerge at Wigan since the days of Farrell and Robinson, it's a privilege to watch a player like this. The fact that he annoys the opposition so much is a nice bonus.

As for the best player at Wigan, I actually think it's close between Sam and Pat. Both are huge for us.
