| They must of got him to sign quick before he met Millward
If he was that good he would of gone to a club with a chance of winning something imo.

| Anyone think Menzie Yere from Sheffield is worth a gamble? Played well against us last season, as he has consistently done for Sheffield and PNG in both attack and devastating defence. May lack a little pace for a starting SL centre, but with full time training he could be "our" version of Solomona off the bench.

| Good shout Im suprised no Super League side has picked up on this guy his defence is second too none and he isnt too shabby in attack too I could see him playing at a team like Wakefield/Quins.

He'll be 28 in October, I'm not sure if he'd be worth the risk. Solid enough player, but as said above, would probably suit a team more like Wakefield or Quins at this stage of his career. Chucking him straight in the deep end at the likes of Wigan, Saints and Wire wouldn't be beneficial I reckon.

| Would have loved for us to sign Chase, excellent player and exactly the type of half we need as teams have got smart to our main strike tactic and we offer very little in the centre of the field.
It will be interesting to see if we look to recruit, almost preying now these Carney rumours are true.

Some bloke off the redvee who was told by the same source who told him about Lance Hohaia.
Moral of the story? Never trust a scouser.

| I must say I am surprised Chase is staying at Cas, maybe he just prefers being a big fish in a small pond.

Or perhaps he just got the deal that he wanted at Cas?
The Chase deal just seemed a bit too obvious for me and judging from his signings so far IL seems to be a shrewd operater in the player market.
Im willing to bet we will end up signing somebody we have not already been linked with in the media.

Someone on www.wiganwarriorsfans.com is claiming that a "credible source" has told them that Ricky Stuart will be our head coach next season and that is a reason for the recent drop of form from the team.
Anybody else heard this?

His name was mentioned months ago when Maguire first announced he was leaving. Can't see it but Ian Lenegan wasn't in Australia for surfing lessons!

| Ricky Stuart?
Come on, he's one of the premier coaches in the NRL. I'm sure we could bring over somebody from over there to coach, but not the current NSW coach
