Wikipedia is a good starting point, but if the facts have no citations, it's time to accept that someone with the brain the size of a peanut [I'm looking at you here Yellow Giraffe] can put just about anything on there. |

Problem is some cannot differentiate between fact or fiction and unless people are prepared to fully look into an argument prior to trying to prove their point Wikipedia can leave them look rather stupid.
And this topic does come up about us going Pro first which is wrong very often. |

Yes, it seems we are now getting somewhere with you as well.
Most clubs in the early 90's had a 'very' large amount of players that used RL as a living (£250-500 per week). Or did you think that players around the same like Phil Veivers, Alan Hunte, Tea Ropati, Paul Loughlin, Jonathan Griffiths, Paul Bishop, Bernard Dwyer, Kevin Ward, George Mann, Shane Cooper stood on the dole queue every Thursday collecting their giro.
I will say this again....Leeds RLFC went 100% full time professional just before Wigan RLFC did. |

It's about those clubs for the last couple of years I admit. But you still have a fair way to go to catch us in terms if success in the Super League era.
