Not great but typical for pre season. We dropped so much ball and missed so many opportunities it wasn't funny but hopefully that's out the way.

Goulding and Charnley look good, Sam is Sam and the forwards need to up their intensity but obviously will. I fear were a prop short mind so it'll be handy to have Fielden or Prescott back soon rather then later.

Roll on the proper stuff.

Leigh beat this Salford team by a much bigger margin and that goes to show that there isn't must in preseason games, I see people on facebook have began to write our season off!

Not been to the game, 10 - 16 scoreline flatters salford. But being a salford fan who refrains from wearing rose tinted specs, you can see the difference in the 2 sides simply by the fact that if wigan play badly they still WIN, if salford play good or bad we still LOSE. all the best for the season goodluck...

It was an incredibly boring game, but that's what you get with pre-season friendlies. Errors aplenty, silly penalties given away. It looked like a lot of players still weren't up to speed.

Disappointing that the team looks completely void of any attacking threat down the middle. We only looked dangerous when Tomkins got the ball, the rest of the time it was predictable, slow and uninspiring.

I can't understand why Mellor was only played for the last 4 minutes. The team was lacking an attacking spark and just having small forwards trundling up the middle and then moving a loose forward into the halves just doesn't provide much hope.

Maybe there will be some improvement for the opening game.

I a glad i am one of the 1,000 or so former season ticket holders who have refused to to take up the rip of prices and crap signings for 2012

The game was just as poor as the stadium.

Not a good performance, thought we started ok and scored a decent try. Then seemed to become very scrappy. Though quite a few of the team haven't had much game time yet, which won't help

The stadium is a shed. A modern shed, but still a shed. With exception of the main stand of course. The car park was a take. Had to pre-book tickets they said, by 10pm last night at the latest they said, with a 50p admin charge for printing your own tickets. So why then, were cars able to turn up and pay £5 whilst using the same car park as pre-booked tickets, which is only half tarmaced with a muddy potholed dirt track on the lead up to it?

Last pre-season game too before the season starts They looked nackered.

The stadiums not great is it.

Middle of nowhere, no atmosphere, damp and the area stinks.

The grounds of the stadium could do with being finished as well.

I said the same thing about Wire last year that we looked knackered, first few games we looked poor but then turned it round, pre season is more about trying new things and seeing if they work.
