Come on now, last year you had a fairly easy route to the Final. Granted, Huddersfield away was a mightily impressive win. But Featherstone are a NL team, Bradford were pathetic last year, and Catalans were bottom of the league when you played them.

Similarly, in the path to the QF in 2009 I'm fairly confident Tony Smith would have got over the line against the opposition you played early on.

In 2009 warrington beat 2 out of the top 4 and yourselves. Okay, so we did well avoiding saints and leeds that year. In 2010 we played 1 championship side (arguably the best) and 4 super league sides which included a 60-6 mullering against a top huddersfield side away from home and a destruction of the champions in the final. I'm sure if we had beaten saints in last years final people would be saying that we had it easy because we never played leeds.

I'm not sure that is what people are saying to be fair. I dont think anybody would doubt that winning the CC is a great achievement, and you are obviously going to have to beat at least a couple of top sides on the way. My problem has been people on here making out that winning the CC is as much of an achievement as winning the league/GF is, because clearly due to the formats of the competitions, it isn't.

So the only play off standard game gets ignored for tv. I wouldn't have put our game on, it isn't likely to be close. Huddersfield v Les Catalans will be a great game and should have been picked. I think Salford v Hull KR would be a closer game than Cas v Wakey but I can understand them wanting to show the dingle derby.
