Btw stuff the Footy Show, I'd rather see NRL Full Time, the new syndicated highlights show that features all games. The Footy Show was garbage last year after Matthew Johns left!

Isn't Matty Johns doing another RL show on a different channel now?

He is and it's out rating the footy show but they air in different time slots.

I have sky and I have the "News & Events pack" but when I switched MSK 433 on last night after 11:00pm it was just a screen filled with horizontal coloured bands!

Only because it's primetime, it's utter garbage and it's viewing are dropping dramatically on a weekly basis.

The footy show is actually good this year, they've employed beau ryan from the tigers-he is a carbon copy of matty johns. It's also been freshened up with sterlo and guest presenters such as benji marshall, scott prince, sailor, hayne and sam burgess.

Setanta PPV on the test card as it did last week.

MSK extra has been going for months as well.

I will be surprised if it will be free on Friday.

Got to agree 100% on that, I watched the first episode of the snappily titled "the Matty Johns Show" and it was cringeworthy TV .... some of his Reg Reagan type characters are now just plain embarrassing. However there was five minutes of good tv though when they did the ridiculous "controversy corner " when some Journo badgered Willie Mason about his career ....Mason got quite angry and emotional about the bad press he got and the fact that none of his ex coaches speak to him....To which he replied "I dont speak to them either...they're just your coach not your best buddy."..I thought he came across really well in a situation that was quite provoking for him....

anyway other than that it was a shocking programme

not as shocking as boots n all or the superleague show but still some distance behind the footy show which I think is still very good..

Im not worried about the channel switching to subscription before Friday. Its listed on Sky as free to air. Id be amazed if that turned it at such short notice. Then again, im amazed there has been no publicity about it.

True. But who do you contact? I have tried to find out from both NRL and Setanta. It looks to me though It like Setanta's old contract. The 3 games this weekend are the same timeslots Setanta had.

Have you tried the company that they appointed to sell the rights? I forget what they are called, but im sure they secured the NRL in USA deal and the world cup deals last year. IMG worldwide maybe?
