| I can't believe how expensive the tickets are tbh especially given we've struggled to sell international games for years and after our dismal preformence in last years world cup.
I don't remember the last home international i missed yet i've made no plans to go to any of these games just yet. I've only been back from holiday a couple of days so thats not helped but i doubt i'll go to any bar the Aussie game(if i can get the day off work). It's just so expensive.

| 3 of us going. Sitting in the east stand row X £30/£15 near where we usually sit.
I was uming and ahing over the price because I thought students (x2) had to pay full price but they don't, so I ordered the tickets. Just wondering now if we'll get them in time.

| o.k the tickets for the sections of the East Stand and the West Stand are quite expensive.
But the North and South Stands and corners of the East stand are not when you compare them to what you pay for League games at Wakefield, Saints, HKR and Hull for example.
You would expect to pay more to watch the Rolling Stones than Daniel O'Donnell.

The tickets behind the sticks are good value but to me the international game over here isn't strong enough to have over 50% of the tickets for games priced at £25 and above and a fair chunk priced at £40 and above.
I've said for a while now we should be looking at taking games against Australia and NZ to bigger grounds and limiting ticket prices to a maximum of £20-25. If we actually did abit of marketing for those games like Wigan did for the Leeds game we could be looking at some pretty big crowds.
In all seriousness who's going to pay £50 for a ticket tonight?

Hope so but i'll be suprised if the central sections of the touchline stands aren't pretty empty tonight.
I heard around 10k of the 15k tickets had gone for tonight which includes rafts of freebies given away.

How many freebies? Some one on another thread was saying this about the game at the Stoop but couldn't tell me how many, how people had got them and how he knew for sure that 'loads' had been given out.

Again it's only rumour and i don't have an exact figure but they've been offered about on here and then there were the free tickets given away to the armed forces aswell as some to amature clubs(so i read anyway).
If people think £50 is an acceptable price for a ticket for a game against a side like France then they must have more money then me. The RFL have priced these games way wrong imo.

'Some' of the tickets aren't overpriced imo but then the ones over £30 are. That game should be the pinacle as an English Rugby League fan but at the end of the day it's not because we aren't good enough to compete and even though one side will have the worlds best players on show the other side will mearly be trying to keep the score down.

I can just about see how they can charge the prices they have for the Aus game - decent location in the heartlands, Saturday afternoon, best team in the world (and Australia ) - demand should be expected to be pretty high.
The pricing for tonights game is insane. Playing it in the end of South Yorkshire, miles away from any Super League fans and the heartlands, on a Friday night against a team we scored 60 past 3 months ago - it is guaranteed to be a low interest affair.
I would possibly have gone to the game tonight, but there is no way I could guarantee getting to Doncaster on a Friday night for 8pm - and I suspect that is the same for anyone travelling from anywhere further away than Leeds.
