Again he needs to learn some class.
Tbf he did say he likes a bit of WWE and maybe that's why his players were trying to take our players heads off.
Although Madge won't say anything I'd love him to do a Fergie and speak his mind as at the end of the day fattie Kear is showing Madge zero respect with his comments.'"
I can't remember both the players coming off and both going on, one coming off was Korkidas, and one going on was Moore. Kear pulled them both over and said, you're on for the last 10 minutes, give them some f*cking sh*t!!!

I was right in front of this he said it to Shane Tronc as he was coming on. Probably trying to get something out of him before he buggers off home in a couple of weeks. A embarrasing thing to hear from him though thought Kear had abit more about him than that.

| If watching Wigan is like watching paint dry Mr Kear why are Wigan the top point scorers in Super League? Why have Wigan scored over 140 points more than Wakefield. I wish we could play some entertaining rugby for a change. Can you imagine Joel scoring a try from his own 20m line? Can you imagine both your winger scoring hat tricks in the same game? Wake up Mr Kear and get your head out of the sand. Wakey are over-rated and offer very little to Super League. They have a dump of a ground, poor crowds, and a poor team filled with rejects and over the hill players. It shows the mentality of that club who want to go out to give some f**king s**t and try to injure a fellow pro. There is not one player in the Wakefield squad who I would have at Wigan. Well Mr Kear you keep entertaining the 5,000 Wakey fans and let us 13,000+ Wigan fans watch the paint dry.

Thats nothing to what SW said we had to do to Korkidas in the last 10 mins. and when Radders told him he had come off and was on the bench he told him to go and T*** him. I dont think SW likes Korky.

| I honestly can't work out if Kear is saying it was like watching paint dry because his own team didn't make a contest of it or because Wigan controlled the ruck so efficiently. If it's the former, then fair enough. If it's the latter, he needs to get a grip. TBH I can't see it being the way it seems or is being taken by most after he was so honest in his assessment the last time his team was this bad. I remember him saying "we were lucky to get nil!"
I'd actually like him to clarify this. I've always had time for him and this sullies his reputation as it currently stands.

| It got exciting in the second half when we made it a bit of a contest and the Wigan crowd enjoyed that."
Well Mr Kear, I enjoyed watching my team giving the team that you coach a lesson in Rugby League in the 1st half, oh and scoring 80m tries, thank you, enjoy your electric atmosphere at your next home game.

| Does Kear not think it was like watching paint dry for us aswel as we had to watch our lads at walking pace most of the game against one of the worst sides ever in SL?

| Kear is a bitter idiot, over looked for the England job for McNamara and fighting a losing battle to keep Wakefield on the up.

As a Wakey fan, I agree that the way Kear phrased his comments could be seen as derogatory to Wigan and whilst I am sure that was not his intention (ie I think as others have said his comments were more aimed at our inability to make it an interesting game), I can see why some of you are not best pleased.
However, to call the current Wakey side one of the worst ever in superleague is a bit OTT IMO. We were just completely outplayed by a better side.

| to be fair to the wakey fans, this same thread on theor board has received a few raised eyebrows about kears comments. to be honest i think its comeout of frustration of losing key personnel this year and some very lacklustre performances. hes made himself look a complete tool and its amused me to be honest. !!!!

That is the reason he made his comments.
After our tough game at Saints,he thought he could get something from this game.
But things are changing in wigan again,an awful lot of people know it and don't like it.

Your right, you definatly arn't one of the worst sides in SL, as for the "losing battle to keep wakey on the up" Kear deserves alot of respect, because in my eyes he took them to places they have never been before, Wakey would be playing Barrow and Leigh if it wern't for John Kear.

I've said several times before that I respect John Kear, but, however his after-match comments were intended, they sounded very churlish.
I always held him in much higher esteem than the likes of Potter and Matterson, who never seem short of a few excuses, but to hear him chunnering about maybe needing to change the rules puts him firmly back in the 'RL cliche' category.
I mean, some people really need to think before they speak. Wigan are looking very good, so the RFL have to change the rules to even things up ... AGAIN!!!
Surely some of these guys have got a bit more pride than that?
Mind you, why would they have? The last time they whinged like this, the rules were changed.
