Quote thepriestman85="thepriestman85"Your right but IL got shot down this week for even sounding out potential replacements for Noble. I'd hazard a guess that some on here would had a heart attack if he got rid of him so close to the whole Hock thing.'"
I didn't see much evidence of that when the rumour was first started. People were praying for it to true that he had been sacked on Tuesday night (that was the rumour wasn' it?). Not to go over old ground but the reason IL was being shot down wasn't for sounding out potential replacements but for doing that and then saying Noble's job depended on results which a lot of people consider at least unprofessional.
Quote thepriestman85Sadly tho there are opposition fans with such a massive chip on their shoulders who have already subversively questioned Noble’s role in this fiasco.
Noble doesn’t deserve anything like that rep as I’ve always thought of him as an above board type of guy even if i want him out of the club.'"
I agree but if he goes you can guarantee it will be mentioned as one of the major events of Nobles time here. You can see the headlines now, "Brian Noble, ex- Wigan coach who presided over one of the worst periods of Wigan's recent history culminating in the Hock drug scandal...."
I think that particular horse has bolted.
