As Warrior72 said, we can have more if we need but majority of fans do go through the RFL. Thats probably why we get a small allocation of tickets. Its just easier online aint it.

| If you look at 2011 we only had 15k iirc but looking around the stadium on the day there must have been 25-30k Wigan fans on. I'd say half of the people but from the RFL, I know I have.

| I bought ours through the RFL and judging by the absence of ques on Sunday a lot of people will have done the same or used the on-line ticketing at Wigan.

| buying on-line was easy as you could even select closest to a particular seat, bought mine from RFL as soon as they announced that Wigan/London were allocated the West half.

| There will be far more Wiganers that have bought tickets from the RFL than the club from my experience. This is the first time ive bought from the club for many years wgich is due to them allowing two per ST. But as many go down as a large group the easy way is to buy as many as you want through the RFL.

| Isn't it more beneficial to the club financially if we buy through them? I bought mine online through our e-ticketing option.
Understand for non-season ticket holders the RFL might be the better option, but a straight choice between either, I'd rather out my money to our club.

Ill stand corrected but I don't think that matters as both clubs get an equal share of the gate receipt.

| Been quite impressed with the speed of delivery too, think we had to wait a long time last time for delivery.

That is correct, it's about 15% of net receipts per club. Adam Pearson reckons that equates to a couple of hundred grand each.

| We are ST holders who have just returned from holiday and seen that tickets are on general sale today.
I note that the club are not taking phone enquiries and wondered if anyone knew if the tickets available on general sale have availability behind the sticks?
I am off there shortly but don't want to spend half my day in a snaking queue at the ground given that I could probably pick up tickets in another part of the ground later in the week with less hassle.
Any info would be appreciated.

Sounds pretty promising especially given Hulls are yet to go on general sale. I suppose you've always got to factor in the club Wembley seats and minus them that's about 55,000 sold up to now. I'd guess about half of those club Wembley members will turn up (or be bothered to sell them on) so that puts it at about 62-63k.
A good push over the coming weeks should see a crowd of around 75-80k which isn't too shabby given the current climate.
