At the end of the day he's made a big mistake and he is paying for it - so are Wigan, we've lost arguably the best second row in the competition for 2 years, why should we punish ourselves more by sacking him only for him to get signed up by one of our rivals once the ban is up?

The statement should be out by now.
They have known this was coming for some time, yet another pointless delay. (My guess is the statement will be buried on season ticket price day and fans focus at that will overshadow the Hock statement)
Unless somewhere along the line there is disagreement over what Hock does now.
