Interesting to see Brent Webb attacking Liam Farrell's head with a swinging arm just as he's about to turn for the try line. I've only just noticed that having watched it again. The whole situation is just ridiculous and I really hope we stand up for ourselves as a club, we can't just keep accepting decisions in the face of blatant hypocrisy and people employed WITHIN the game using the media as a mouthpiece to slur the club.

if anyone has got the warrington game last week at the dw then have a look at the 62min mark and see how tuson is hit in the throat by a warrington player leading with his forearm/elbow. joel got sent off and banned but this was not even cited. the whole disciplinary procedure is is run by incompetents.

just been reading another thread on the leeds game and it brought this to mind. does anyone remember bailey liftig his knee as he ran into a to be tackled by wigan, i think it was just before they scored in the second half and was under the posts.

Shenton hadn't already been banned (effectively twice) this season for dodgy tackle technique risking injury, plus you haven't seen the tackle in question.

Feel free to continue the "it's only because we're Wigan" approach though, it's quite amusing.

Shenton has not been cited previously for dangerous play. Lima has. The RFL incorporated a warning into his judgement last time out. So it is possible that they are looking at him more closely than they would at other, cleaner players.

If you'd actually bothered to read the previous "warning" you'd see it had nothing to do with what he has now been charged with, therefore as per usual when Wigan gets in the way for you, you're talking complete and utter crapola.

That doesn't count - it fails to fit in with his attempt to paint Wigan as the great evil of RL.
