The whole coverage last night was great. Just a commentator and a summariser. All that was needed.

I expected the pundits to say that Wigan would win the comp but was very surprised that the one pundit that did pick Saints was Tomkins.

Good to see that they were all universal as to who they think the MOS would be though....

As for the game, totally one-sided, turned off at HT to watch The Apprentice.

Carney,always have had a soft spot for that lad with his comment Question "are you happy Brian" "Yes I am as happy as a rabbit with 2 cocks" he said many years ago on Sky after a game.

Dave Woods is OK, nothing more. But OK is clearly a heck of a lot better than Bill Arthur.

The game was really poor for the most part - at least the cards gave some talking points. I think the depth of quality in SL this year is worrying.

Really can't stand Wilkin he really grates on me, probably more form watching the podcast thing they do, they have a guest on and he talks over them all the time and just spouts of loads of tosh, not too bad on game days but stil looks like he wants the spotlight on him

I liked Amor when he first started but he talks too much. Half the time not even about the game. He will get stale quickly.

I agree Mark Wilson is the best they have got, hopefully he will supply commentary on the big games.

Who’s watching on bbc today and who’s watching on sky? I’m interested in watching it on bbc to see who’s commentating. Happy with the shake up. Others don’t like Wilkins but I honestly don’t mind him think he makes some good comment sometimes says stuff to be controversial. Tomkins is a natural as well as amour. Like Carney and Jenna. I was flicking between all three last night and I think it was Terry who was commentating on the saints game didn’t listen to it all but regardless hope the get shut and get some better in. Kev Brown has been really good in the past

Think Wilkin gets a really bad press. He’s decent in my opinion.

The whole thing is an improvement on previous years. Not radically better but an improvement, for me.

The BBC commentary team may need a shake-up too.

There was a moment tonight, when one of them actually complimented the Castleford pitch people for their work. Or, that's how it sounded. Yet that was one of the worst playing surfaces I've seen in quite some time.
