| Much as chris has said, we should have a few backs returning and i would hope both halfbacks, its the props that are the problem, what was already a weak area is missing tetevano, prior and holroyd.
French has every chance of beating his 7 against hull if your coach identifys Ash Handleys horrible habit of jamming in, for no reason, on already covered players, leaving his winger unmarked, lost count of how many try's he's costing us doing it.
Hope im wrong, but expect a wigan win by at least 2 scores.

| Quote: christopher "Leeds fan in peace.
I would suspect the Leeds team will be s lot stronger on Thursday, I kind of get the feeling we purposely sent s weakened team to Toulouse.
I’d hope that Austin, Sezer, Leeming, Hardaker, Sutcliffe and Newman will al be back in the team.
Really looking forward to this one, you giys are playing some great Rugby and Smith has really turned our attack around and we’re playing som lovely stuff too.
Ultimately I think you guys will have a bit too much for us but I think we’ll have s good crack and it’s a while since weve been at home so atmosphere should be good!'"
Cheers mate, should be competitive with all them creative players back.
Not been to Headingly since 2019 so looking forward to it.

| Really looking forward to this one. I live in Leeds but haven’t been to Headingley since the new stands were built. Does anyone know if you can still get into the South stand from the scoreboard end?

| Just ordered two tickets for the game and see that it’s collect only which means a fifty odd mile round trip to pick them up from Robin Park. I think this has been mentioned within a previous topic but is this collection thing now the norm, or is it just because I’ve left it relatively late in the day?

Do they not do what Leeds do? If you haven’t collected them by the day of the match they take them to the away ground snd you pick them up from there?

Not sure mate. When I’ve ordered either away tickets or home cup tickets previously, they’ve just been posted out. This time, I noticed ‘collect only’ and I’m not sure why.

Just seen a post from the club that says it's down to the proposed Royal Mail strikes this week.

You can pick them up from the Leeds ticket office at the game.

Thanks for that. My Mrs is travelling up to Chorley tomorrow, so will nip in for the tickets on her way through.

| This game and last Friday's game are the types of fixture that should be a real selling point for the sport - unfortunately injuries and underperformance meant last week's game was a non contest and this week's game probably won't be what it should be (Thursday scheduling also doesn't help).
The competition really needs the likes of Leeds, Warrington and Hull to get it together so we can see high quality, high profile fixtures more regularly. Leeds look to be heading in the right direction under Rohan Smith and hopefully Warrington/Hull are starting to get the message that you need to focus on your youth development to be successful long term.

If Leeds and Wigan + Wire now show you anything, then a coach is the single most important hire any club can make. Appoint a Lam or Powell and it doesn't matter who you have, the season won't even begin.

Just mentioned in the Cooper thread that good coaches seem to make good signings and poor coaches make poor ones. I’m convinced if Saints and Woolf had signed Peter Mautautia, Joe Bullock, George Williams etc, they’d all be flying and had Powell and Wire got somebody like Hurrell, he’d still be the overweight liability he was at Leeds. Teams get so hung up on fixing problems by signing player after player but the man in charge will always be the most important. It’s the same with Man Utd in football. All I hear is their fans screaming for new players but if the new manager is worth his salt, there’s plenty of talent he can turn around and get playing better already at the club.
