At least the Magic Weekend fixtures are based on the previous SL finishing positions......So it's not like it's a big surprise or is it to some?

Nope, no surprise at all. I just hate it. What ever way the fixtures are sorted, it creates an unfair league system.
If Magic was a 9s competition I might go.

| You’ll never please everyone I suppose. I’d be totally the opposite on a nines comp and say the day they make it that is the day I’d stop going. I watched the recent international nines and I thought it was awful tbh.
We do always seem to get a tough fixture at Magic unlike our scouse neighbours but not much we can do.

| As far as the magic goes sides shouldn’t play each other year on year regardless of the table,it makes the concept stale for those undecided about going.

| Always enjoyed the platinum club at Newcastle. Next year you can only get a ticket for that if you buy a full priced ticket with no season ticket discount. What's that all about ? . Regards EW

| Seems a dreadful set of fixtures for Wigan to me. Warrington at home on a Thursday, 2nd home game against Toronto again on a Thursday. No Friday night games until mid April. Saints at home the second to last game after we've already played them twice away. Magic against Warrington yet again. No chance of any crowds around the 20k mark this year.

Good for those with young children, an audience the club have targeted, three Sunday home games early on in the season when it's generally colder.

| My first thoughts on the two Thursday fixtures were negative but then I started to think at least they’ll be bigger then they may have been on Fridays in mid season and certainly Thursday mid season games. People will be geared up for that first game getting to see Hastings, Burgess, Widdop etc and that will help. There will also be a buzz to see Money Bill in the flesh. They’d have been better crowds on Friday nights but hopefully those factors can offset it.
On the plus side I miss no home fixtures when I’m away for two weeks so I can sort a season ticket out.

| Worst thing about those 6 consecutive away games is they’re all Yorkshire games, the joys of visiting Hull KR Wakey and Cas in the space of a month

If you lost 3 games that's over a quarter of your gate receipts, how would you retrieve that?
