| Happy enough with this, a ride over to a nice little ground in West Yorkshire to see Wagga and his new mates, and at least five Super League out of the running by the end of the day.

| Remember going away to Dewsbury years ago in the cup, I think it may have been on our run to the 98 cup final before Sheffield beat us.
It'd be nice to play it at there place but tickets won't be easy to come by.

Nice little ground? It's an absolute dump. There are only 2 stands.

I don't think it will be too bad, especially for s/t holders, capacity 3,700, but they've never really had more than half of that. Except for.........

| Good grief this draw make me feel old, again!
Last time I went to Dewsbury was 1970 in the C Cup 1st Round.
Wigan won 11-2 with tries by Keri Jones 2 and Bill Ashurst, one goal by Colin Tyrer. Details thanks to Bilko's site.
Always remember going, cloudless sky and had to drive with sun glasses on for part of the journey, it snowed whilst the game was on then poured down with rain on the way back. Like three seasons in one day!
Sometimes I just start........sorry!

3632_1352982335.jpg Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery.......
I will look to the moment, and miraculously, the future will take care of itself.
Radio 5 Live, Sat, April 14th, 2007,...Dave Whelan, "In Wigan, rugby will always be king"
'I was certain, positive, convinced, and yet..........unsure'
'It's only rock 'n' roll, but I like it'

I remember Duggie Laughton breaking down the blind side from a scrum and sending Keri Jones away down the wing for a try.
Also stood on a grassy bank behind the sticks which soon turned into a slippery mess as the weather changed.
Not like todays summer rugby.

It was a terrible pass and Jones picked it up from his bootlaces. The pitch was about 6" deep in "slutch" but Jones had fantastic acceleration even in those conditions he absolutely flew in at the corner. Brings back happy memories, and tears to my eyes, as I remember being at the game with mam & dad.

| Huddersfield v Saints the battle of the new wannabes, or maybe the never-wasers and the has-beens. Only time will tell.
