| I was going to buy mine online this morning but they can get bent. I'm not paying £5 for two tickets just because I am paying by debit card. Travel companies got fined for doing that not long ago.

don't forget the renewal fee they are charging if you renew on line.

| Let's make it clear here that it's the stadium company and not the club who are making these charges.

Nope - banks still charge merchants for debit card transactions.

| I have no issue in paying £2.50 charge on the tickets especially when you compare it to tickets for concerts shows etc when they charge you about a third extra on your ticket price. You pay booking fee and postage fee regardless if they send the tickets to you or you print them on your computer.
Even RFL only charges £2 on the tickets they send to you. At least if i get family tickets for us next season it will cost approx £50-60. When you book tickets for concerts the booking and postage fee for 4 people can amount to £50 at times.

| Talking of rip offs...
Delivery charges for the online club shop are a joke. Has put me off on numerous occasions buying items and is something that should be looked at.

| They should have a 'reserve online pick up in store' option.

| lets put this into context......i always but tickets online or over the phone....£2 per ticket is a small price to pay to save you going to the ticket office.......AND..they post them out at no extra cost.
Ticket master charged me £7-50 last time i bought a concert ticket.........and St Helens charge £5 for the same service we are getting for £2.
i think your over reacting slightly..

| The club should bring a card out what you can put money on and use it anywhere plus they shouldn't charge you to buy tickets with it

There is the usual purchasing online fee... And also a fee for paying by card. They charge this down at the ticket office too.

tbh i always pay by card and only pay the £2 fee, whether online or by phone.
is there a different fee for debit and credit cards?

| According to the terms and conditions on the official website. If you pay by card in person for a regular ticket theres no charge. But if you pay by card in person for your season tickets you will be charged a £2.50 booking fee for each season ticket. That doesn't really make sense to me..
If you book normal ticks online or by phone then its a 2.00 fee per transaction which is upto 4 tickets. so if you where buying 5 tickets you'd pay a £4 booking fee. and again for season tickets its 2.50 per season ticket. In all honesty it seems like a bit of a rip off to me. but I can only assume the reason for this charge is for them to pay ticketmaster for using them?rather than having anything to do with a cost of transferring the money. or maybe for postage? But if that is the case and you request to pick them up in person on matchday then in reality they should be waiving that charge.
It's hardly massive amounts of money but it still seems a tad unfair regardless of the amount.

Quite agree, its the principle and the feeling of being ripped off that gets on peoples nerves.
Maybe the extra £2.50 transaction charge for season tickets is for producing the swipe cards?
I will still be paying it when season tickets are on open sale on 7TH November
