| It was shocking. No wonder Hudds ended up giving up in defence, they didn't know whether they would get penalised for attempting to tackle or not. Kevin Brown even said to him at one point that it was like playing touch rugby.

| Someone should have told him that Wire were going to win easy without his help. As has been the case on many occasions he wanted to be the centre of attention, which is an awful attitude for a ref to have.

| Looks as though Cummings directive for the play offs is to reduce the amount of holding down time in the tackle.
Will it be applied consistently though.

| For me, a ref should blend into the background for the spectator. He shouldn't have a spot-light on him at all times. Maybe we should hire a supertrooper for our next game with him as ref, and keep it on him at all times.

| I'm not one for having a 'go' at refs, but Ganson last night was awful, some very poor decisions, taking nothing away from Wire who played well, but the Hudds performance and Ganno's running of the game played into their hands.

Hope so, might even stop you lot holding down so long in the tackle

| I stopped watching it after the 11th "penalty" was awarded after 17 minutes.
I switched to the NRL elimination play off game between West Tigers and NZ Warriors.
Low penalty count - probably two dubious decisions if that - and a game allowed to flow by sensible refereeing.
Instead of Cummings and his men reviewing every Super League game maybe they should review every NRL game to find out how it`s done properly.

| we don't hold down any longer than anyone else. We send 3 men into a tackle, which allows you to extend the time. It's within the rules.

| Hudds had a small chance if they kept it tight early but Ganson killed that chance off. Wire played really well but its hard to judge how well because of all the penalties. At least Huddersfield might of been able to stop themselves from being embarrassed

| To the people that complain about the high tackle decisions, yes they are wrong, the player slipped. But in our game with Hudds earlier in the season Mcgilvary slipped, morley hit him like brough hit hodgson last night, and not only was a penalty given, he was put on report and faced the beak iirc. The decision is wrong, but it's gone both ways now and like everything in sport, it's evened itself up.

| If you aren't dominate in the tackle then you don't deserve extra time lying on. Thankfully Ganson is a ref that gets that.
Huddersfield knew they had to slow us down early on and Ganson saw what they were trying.

| The one thing that gets me with our game is how we can change an interpretation with a particular law. It isn't the first time a new directives has been sent out part way through a season or in this case 95% of the way through. Fans, coaches and players all complain about consistency, how the hell do you get consistency by changing something mid season?

Hudds were doing just that last night and got penalised for it. However I do think Bentham will be more lenient with you lot. Next time we meet however me may have a different ref who will penalise. It's a case of wait and see who we get.

| During the weekly rounds Ganson usually lets the game flow, but in big games he increasingly seems to think we've all come to see him. A combination of the game already won and Ganson's mug on the screen every minute, meant I turned over and watched the cricket after 25 minutes.

| the english refs should take a look at the aussie play off games, you would hardly notice the ref and they have two.
