Would have loved the team to have walked back out. The place would have gone mental.'"
I was a bit dissappointed they didn't, thought they might have as they must have been able to hear us.

| I miss Mo.
It's boring not being able to pick apart how badly the club was being run and being proved right. Where's the fun in being a sensibly run, successful club, with an owner with a long term plan for success, rather than being obsessed with short-term, reactionary, big name signing that failed miserably?

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-

| We need " There's only one Eric Pollard " we did it at Catalans before the play-off game a couple of years ago, IL had a great big smile after that.

| Ws very emotional when Lenagan came onto the pich. He stated when he came to the club that it was his dream to walk his home town club onto the Wembley pitch, and know he can do it.
Well done Ian, you deserve it!!!!!!!!!!

| IL is a great businessman and a big fan if the club. put the two together and I think success is inevitable. I do think it came a season earlier than I expected but long may it continue!

He clearly had a big mess to deal with when he first started. Didn't he mention at one of the forums that the club was in a far worse state than he'd anticipated?
But to turn things around so much in - what is it, four years? - is nothing short of amazing.
Looking back on it now, it seems astonishing that he was being dissed for not giving Nobby a new contract. Thank God he had the strength of his convictions and didn't give in to some very loud but very empty vessels.

Ian's dream - now we only need Chas and Dave.
In our ranks there's Ian Lenegan
He's had a dream for a year or two
That one day we're gonna play at Wembley
Now his dream is coming true
Ian we're gonna be behind you
Altogether man for man
We know we're gonna play a blinder
[Ian] In de cup for Wig-an
