They have. Sheffield did a big complaint about it.
But is 3,000 away fans coming from free buying pints, food and whatever etc better than 1,000 or less turning up and paying £15ish quid to get in? Remember the admission fee would be shared with the other club anyway. They don't have to share the takings from the bars. We would take anywhere near 3,000 paying full admission so surely it offsets some of the loss?
Does my argument make any sense?  |

| Surely there will be quite a few Wigan fans (like myself and hubbie) who live too far from lovely lovely Wigan to commit to buying a season ticket so will pay on the gate. Mustn't grumble though as we live only 25 miles from Sheffield so we would class this as a 'home' fixture  |

Only the bars etc will be owned/franchised out by Sheffield United so the Eagles will make the sum total of bugger all from the bars.

| We are a family of season ticket holders but due to unforseen circumstances last minute two of our party unable to attend the Sheffield game, therefore got 2 spare tickets if anyone interested let me know. One was for adult and one for child season ticket but on Sheffield tickets it does not state adult, child etc so should be able to use for either or.
Just let me know if interested as would rather they go to a good home  . |

When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

I think with the announcement that MM is fielding a full strength side this weekend will boost ticket sales over the next couple of days. Alot of people may be put off going 70 miles to watch a Wigan Reserve team.

i'm sure there must be some people on here who have too many tickets for sat? i went and redeemed 6 STs worth of tickets even though only 4 of my family are going and ive given a couple of mates the other 2. might be an idea for anybody with extra to leave a note on here or head over the sheff board as theres a few looking for tickets over there too.

We took 2,000 to Cas and alot more to Salford.
I rekon there will be around 4,000 if we have a strong squad! |
