Tommy is not a good talker Pat could do it what about Phelps? but still think Sam would be the best one i know he is young but how old was Faz when he was captain.

Good shout. I think he'd thrive in the role too.

I don't think those who have mentioned Sam's name are talking sh*te, after all Farrel was named Wigan's captain at a young age and Sam would probably only be captain for a short period, he may even do such a good job that the club consider giving it to him full time.

Well what makes then think he'd be a good captain? Being sin binned for back chat? Giving away silly penalties? Oh, I know - it's because he's the new golden boy.

The guys got a little bit of an attitude about him but any good halfbacks needs that, as for giving away silly penalties do you think O'Loughlin would be anywhere near the captain's role if we judged people on that. If you want my opinion on why I might consider Sam as captain it's down to the fact he's constantly talking and organizing those around him, as well as doing good things on the field that others can follow.

| We need someone the rest of the squad respect; someone with experience and a cool head in frantic situations. I'd say Richards or Carmont.
The most important thing is the whole squad perform as a team, cutting out all the errors and penaties. If we can do this it doesn't matter who the captain is.

Yes and doing a good job, so lets leave him alone and not give him too much responsibility.
At the moment though - if Sam took a dump in the middle of the field there would be some d1ck on here who would say it was the greatest dump ever blah blah blah
