i noticed when watching the game again, that briers tackled tomkins and as he was getting up to play the ball briers kneed him on the side of the head.you can see briers bring his knee across to tomkins head, after playing the ball tomkins moved towards briers and said something to him. |

Your right a few people are trying to target him, but I think Hock and Phelps have been told to look after him.
In the wakefield game Hock went for Leo-Latu and both times Sam got into trouble Phelps was first in.
Kids are always gona get targeted for me, at any level. It's up to the pack in particular to protect them

Sam Tomkins has come in for some stick over the past few weeks from Brough, Latu, Briers etc but stands up to it pretty well.
If only his forwards would give him some support.

Why this comes a surpise is beyond me, this idiot has never been any different, there have been lots of threads about the most hated players etc etc, and this idiot is always number 1, 3rd one into every tackle, niggling digs in the tackle, and the first one to leg it, in the modern day, the most annoying player and one of the biggest wan@**s, bar none.
