'" If the risk of ruining their career isn't enough of a deterrent I doubt letting the team would be.
And even without a point deduction him getting caught is going to effect the team as they lose one of their better players. |

IMO we should stand by hock ,yes he made a mistake , but after all hes a wigan lad and a great player , he will learn his lession and im sure he aint the only player to take drugs.

These are grown men we're talking about. The club can't watch over players like baby sitters.
How a player chooses to act in his leisure time cannot be controlled by the club. |

Couldn't agree more. As much as we are loathe to lose a player like him, if you fall foul of the drug testing, you should be out for good.
I really can't imagine any other outcome should the 2nd test confirm the 1st.
Lenagan's first duty is to uphold the reputation of the club as best he can, and I have complete confidence he'll do this. |
