No as they were done for before the major injury issue to the FB. Early in the second half they were gone and it was obvious. No one mentions that SOL was playing on one leg and Green had one good eye to see out of. Typically you ignored that fact.

Difference was that SOL had cover in Flower who plays as a prop. Thats where the game is now changing and impact players have no value anymore. Deciding factor in the GF was that we played at pace for 80 minutes. Both Leeds and Huddersfield could not match us either. Another fact you seem to not see. Giants a big pack got mauled by us. Our squad now has so much depth that Wane will do the same as last season play until we get top 4 and rest players and get as close to a fit squad as possible. And that was the deciding factor Wane did not care about results after we got guranteed top 4 spot.

If we lost Sam and Richards we would have coped with it. Same as we did when Richards went off in 2010. Injuries are part of Rugby and players need to play more than 20-30 minutes per game or otherwise it will cost you. Covering injuries is part of the game and boy We are truly the best at that.

That was not arrogance that is a fact.

Every player who had a niggling injury from the moment we got top 4 guaranteed was rested. In the run up to the play offs we got turned over by The Giants and Leeds. In the play offs they got blown away with ease. Though Leeds hung on even listening to their coach in the Review on Sky he felt they were never in the game. Maguire turned us from a SL side set up to a NRL one and it has shown.

I watched Amor most weeks for the last couple of years. You can get stats to mean anything. The Wigan Props play a hurtful game they damage and fatigue the opposition.

Amor is steady, he is a good fourth Prop in a top team. Very reliable but not damaging.

I would not have been disappointed for Wigan to sign him, I do not think he would make the team each week for us but I think he would be a good player to have in the squad.

Each to their own opinion I suppose but I'd take him over Dudson, Luaki or Crosby any day. I thought Flower was superb last season for you and Taylor also impressed.

I think a regular starting spot for us will allow Amor to show everyone his true colours. He is far better than "a fourth prop" and I think he'll show that this season.

Isn't that the point he would be 4th choice at best on last years form at Wigan. Starting next year on the players we have in place again he would not get in our 17 but I think he would be a good one to have as back up. I agree he is better than Lauaki, but our front row next season will probably be -

Taylor probably our best Prop
Pettybourne ropey year last season mainly due to injury in pre season ( remind you of anyone) showed good form again in the World Cup.
Flower cracking mobile workhorse.
Dudson/Crosby both young and only going to get better.

Crosby for me baring injury will be a shoe in for England Knights next year. I expect him to be our bolter. He is big aggressive and is only going to get better and better.
