Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather have to face lower-end clubs, but other posters are right to point out that we've been poor in recent weeks. So oddly, I feel this will pile extra pressure on us tonight.

Both Widnes and London are teams we ought to beat, but things don't always happen that way. They too would love to get to Wembley, and both now have individual players whose on-field heroics can catch you out badly if you're not on form. In addition, Widnes must feel that if they can pull it off tonight - and they were very close a few weeks ago - they'll be richly rewarded with London in the semi. It will give them a real, perhaps previously unimagined opportunity to make the final.

That said, Shaun Wane will never have a better chance to see his team reach the Twin Towers. If Wigan don't get to the Challenge Cup Final now, he'll have a real problem explaining that to IFL.
