Having a meal in the hotel...
RH to Waitress (Jokingly)
"Don't you have any Pot Noodles?"
Waitress "Sorry, Sir, but we don't"
RH "What sort of hotel is this? We can get Pot noodles no problem back home"
Waitress "Where's 'home'?"
RH "Englund"
Waitress (Jokingly) "I know you're from England, you pommie ba***rd. Where abouts in England?"
RH (seriously) "Elifunt Lane"

An owd Wigan Supporter complete with Flat cap and White silk scarf staggers into Euston Station after the Wigan v Hull (1960)final very much the worse for wear.

He goes up to this very large bobby and says " con you tell me time of the last train to Daisy Hill",

"I'm as cross as a cross man in a cross shop" (Brian Noble).

Quite a few years ago ( Maybe 15 to 20 years) the Rugby Union World Cup was being held in Europe with games being played in England, Scotland, Ireland , Wales and France. A television crew was travelling between the countries to different games making a documentary as they went along. As the TV crew were travelling from France up to Scotland one of the crew suggested calling in at Barrow RLFC on the Friday night as he had heard that Barrow had a " good little social club on the ground". So they called in and recorded some of the night. At one point the interviewer spoke to an old bloke with his flat cap on and a pint of flat rib in his hand and asked him " What do you think of Rugby Union then"? The old bloke replied " It's the only game I know where the crowd handle the ball more than the players" Classic!

1985 Challenge Cup Final after Brett Kenny scored his wonder try, Alex, who commented that Kenny had his hands in his pockets before kick off, came out with this spluttering classic"I wish Hull,I bet wish Hull, I bet Hull wish he had his hands in his pockets now"

Another one from Terry O'Connor after he'd taken a couple of good uns from Gordon Tallis and was asked if he'd been hurt. "No, the wife hits me harder than that".
