It's definitely Graeme West in the 87 picture. It does look a bit like Brian Dunn, but he didn't feature in the 87 team - pretty certain Brian didn't last very long after the 85 CC win. Didn't he go to Leigh?

Slightly O/T, but we were sorting out some of my dad's old stuff a few months ago and came across a photo from the 58/59 Wembley final. My dad pictured with a few friends in the seats quite low down underneath the Royal Box. It was a very good quality photograph - the type that might have been in the Wigan Observer/Lancashire Evening Post and a copy had been obtained from the paper.

What was striking was the lack of women and children in a photo with over 100 fans in it - only one woman ( bet she was popular!) and absolutely no children. ( I was either not born or 9 months old depending on if it was 58 or 59!). The other interesting aspect was the dress code. Almost all wearing a suit and tie ( some with a cardigan/sweater underneath the jacket) together with a large rosette on the lapel of the jacket, and quite a few wearing caps. Not a replica shirt in sight!

I know what you mean Brian, I gathered these photo's not that long after my dad passed away aged 60, every single one of these on this thread I was stood with him while he took the shots.......putting these on gives me happy memories tinged with sadness.
