Really  Never realised they were that bad....Thought they were just a bit worse than the latics.
There are massive similarities with Wimbledon and Latics though looking at the clubs -
Part time for most of their history, only recently in the football league, not long enough to build proper support, rising too quickly through the divisions due to a benefactor, and then started to flop as they were unsustainable at that level.
Lets just hope the similarities continue, Latics go defunct and a new latics relocate 50 miles away in the next 10 years, just as Wimbledon did!!  |

Strange that ticket details for the visit of Fulham on 15 Jan (less than 2 weeks away) are not yet on the Latics website. The cynic in me thinks this is because they are dreaming up some scheme to "create" a >15K attendance for a fixture that will otherwise be around 12K max.
Maybe they will offer a stand to Heinz or Worthington for the day? That would get the neanderthals on CL spinning in their graves!!!

They were trying that back when I was at school. Couldnt get anyone down then either. Remember coming home n telling my dad (8 years old) that I've got a ticket to go watch Wigan for free. He said "Rugby seasons off now though" shows you even with the Rugby Season off he didn't think it could have been football.
Funny really they were in the same league as our team (Crewe) back then! haha
Didnt go of course Crewe were probably in some sort of relegation battle at that time. |

Being fair it is always our lowest gate of the season. Fulham bring about 6 so anything over 13k is deemed a success imo |
