Seeing as how Brian Noble was his boss at the time, I think there's a reasonable chance it was true.
If there had been a disciplinary reason for sending him home, Nobby would have said so to set an example to the rest of the team.
Why would he try to hide a disciplining!!!??? That would just send out a message that the players can behave as badly as they want and go home without any blame!
Weather he went cos he misbehaved or he just walked out - either way,it makes Longy a TW*T!

The crux is did Noble Make him go home or did he go of his own accord, I would have kicked the arrogant little pr1** out on his backside and made him walk home!
Noble and the team spoke to him about staying but he couldn't take the telling off & went home in a strop. |
