I've just renewed in the south stand, I would like a better atmosphere at the DW but I'm more bothered about the view, plus I can see the teenage chav element of the ultras/brigantes ending up there. If it looks good this season I might move there for 2015. Mind you if it works the atmosphere should carry over to the south anyway

I worry for this club at times. Winning the double and trying to do something positive to keep all sections of the support happy and people still find something to complain about. I don't envy whoever has to make all these decisions one bit ![]()
They had a choice where to go in the south stand as it's unreserved however now they are being herded like cattle. I really don't see what the club are trying to achieve by doing this. If you want a better atmosphere you work on filling the stadium, the current method is the equivalent of having a 5:1 surround sound system and switching four of the speakers off, we want an atmosphere all around the stadium not in one corner.
I too worry for the club at times
Anyhow rant over and I've just renewed my season ticket for the........South stand

Is there anything about which DaveO can't moan? 
Seriously though that's ridiculous. Is anyone not renewing? I'm not a season ticket holder but based on last year i'm not sure i'd get one if i were in a position to attend every game. We had a relatively poor home record, especially towards the end of the year and Sam and Lockers, our two best players, played in one home league game each after may 3rd.
While we did have a successful season, that wasn't reflected in our home league performances, the best being a win against saints and a draw with wire i suppose. I'm not complaining about the way we went about this season i'm just not sure if i would be happy to be a season ticket holder if it were to become the norm.
If the teams going to pick which games they turn up for... |

No, its £2.50 a ticket! I purchased two season tickets and a car park ticket and it is £2.50 for each ticket.

So for my seat in the west that works out at 1% for the seat and 6% for the car park or just under 2% as an aggregate.
Complete rip off - it doesn't cost £2.50 to process each of these things, but given the numbers all ticket-master will do is say they're within their right.

ALL WIGAN SUPPORTERS MUST
1. Wigan must not win a hard fought struggle in appalling conditions, nilling the opposition and scoring 16 points, because that makes for the worst CC Final of all time.
2. Wigan must not get to the final by nilling the opposition and scoring 70 points with a display of attacking rugby because that makes for the worst CC Semi Final of all time.
3. Wigan players must not consider winning the game but devote all their efforts to entertaining neutral fans. Just like all the other teams do...
4. Wigan fans must not mention winning the CC Final, as that is arrogant.
5. Wigan fans must not mention winning the Challenge Cup 19 times, or indeed any other Trophies, as that is very arrogant indeed.
6. Wigan fans must not attend actual games. It is now compulsory to stay at home, watch on TV and moan about how low attendances at games are.: |

Why not add £2.50 to ticket prices or whatever it is and advertise as no booking fee? Or is there a law that states you cant do that?
