The change in the game was controlling Briers, to the point were he was more concerned about being clattered than playing the ball. Three occasions he lost the ball becaue of the threat of the oncoming defender, and the comedy slip was hilarious.

The fact is that even though Warrington have an impressive "Storm-like" roster of players, they are ultimately a one man team. Shut Briers down and they don't play, Myler came on and did nowt, Monoghan offered very little and John Clarke only managed to get punched by Graham. I can see them getting Hudds next week and going out, that loss will have taken a hell of a lot out of them!

As for Saints, I like a few others on here was assuming they were on the decline, but I reckon they've as much chance as any of winning the whole thing; which really sticks in my throat to admit, they played good controlling rugby and if they were to get Eastmond back before the GF I'd want to avoid them at all costs before then.

On the Wire fans note, there were gangs of them walking round looking for trouble after the game and the police presence was the biggest I've seen at an RL match in some time. And that includes when we played Saints both times this year.

The only way they can get Hudds is if we Lose tomorrow!

I thought that if Hull and Hudds win today and we win tomorrow then -

Wire v lower placed winner (Hudds 6th)
Leeds v higher placed winner (Hull 5th)

oh yes, I forgot about the seeding/ ranking based on final league positions.

yes we were shiiiiite last night. But just looking ahead to next week. If you lot beat leeds and get the pick, we beat hull, hudds, whoever the f**K. and leeds win aswell. After last nights showing who do you believe wigan will pick??? Maybe just maybe it will be us, on a dry night at a packed JJB/DW whatever the hell you call it these days, in a winner takes all game with all the pressure on yourselves!! Now that would be very interesting indeed.

Hull finished 6th - Hudds finished 5th


If we win tomorrow then Wire are the Highest ranked losers so they'll play the lowest ranked Winners.
If we lose tomorrow we are the highest ranked losers so we'll play the lowest and Wire will play the highest.
