Pryce didn't even look for the ball today.
I have given him a chance. His has been poor this season, even at a lower level.'"
Bloody hell mate, he 'didn't look for the ball'??? Is that seriously what you're gonna give him grief for? He played on the 'wing' in his first SL game for ages and stuck to the position he'd been told to play in. We hardly took the ball left all game, on one of the few times we did, Karl was in position and scored (not in the middle 'looking for the ball')

He made knock on, big fecking deal - he also did a one handed pickup of a ball bouncing in goal and started running it out, and he palmed the ball away when hudds were making a break down his side late 2nd half and had a 4 on 2 overlap that looked a cast iron try scoring opportunity.'"
Give over..KP may be good at tennis but he is no RL player..get over it.

| Well of the two first team debutantes in todays match one stood out head and shoulders above the other for effort, work rate and presence on the field, and the other did OK and scored a try.
OK isn't good enough for Wigan, if you disagree, take the matter up with Shaun Wane.

We never went wide hardly ever today, just kept banging up the middle, but when we did both sides either scored or went close to scoring. Like I just wrote Pryce offers more physical presence than Charnley and thats important for me in that type of game. I'd give Charnley a run out next week over Pryce if was down to me but not today.

We took the ball right far far more and Hudds took it left far far more, Marsh was caught out for Gilmour's try, went for glory when he should have passed (and didn't even come close to making it), and fluffed a pass to Goulding that was a likely further try.
I actually think Marsh had a decent debut and did some good things, equally I think Karl had a decent game overall to (given the amount of play that side)

And thank feck you aren't. The coach however actually did select him, even though he's apparently rubbish, not an RL player and does nothing in the reserves.
Go figure.

I've read all your posts on the matter, and I violently disagree with your assessment. Sam Tomkins copped similar flack about 'looking for work' during a particular 4 nations game from a lot of opposition fans, I defended him just as vigorously. If you play a structured team sport, you damn well had better be in the position you've been asked to play, following the patterns both in attack and defence that you've been asked to.
Frankly I couldn't give a flying one whether a player looks interested or not, if he does the job he's been tasked with by the coach and satisfies the coach then that's all that matters.

| I have always been confident Pryce would come good and to be fair, i do no think any other backup winger at Wigan would have scored the try he finished, BUT his skill level and enthusiasm today was poor when basically the stage was set for him to make an impact.
I still think he has a future as a good rugby league player but it will not be at Wigan his confidence is shot to pieces.
Hope he gets a run vs Widnes but doubt we will see much more of him in the Cherry and White.

I doubt he will select him much in the future though, Lazy Bones struggled to jog off the pitch.

You need to calm down.
Poor in the reserves.
Did nothing today, he had his chance, he has been here a few years, do you not expect him to come in all guns blazing?
I would rather have another young player in his place using this chance to develop. Would that not be more beneficial?
Save the cap space and get rid.
If you think the performance today was good enough then, ok.
I really really really hope he proves me wrong, I just don't see it.
As for you not wanting player to look for work, well, the best players in the world do. Lockers does and he gets praise for it.

Exactly.
Pryce did nothing wrong whatsoever today.
