Top 8 is sorted, I hope for a home tie against Cas in the first week although I still dream of catching Hudds and going to KR and beating saints to get to the third week but that will never happen.

Only chance we got on that score is if the RL act correctly on the Celtic debarcle and expunge Celtics results for the season as unfortunatley thats going to be a 2 point banker for shuddersfield and will put us out of contention for 4th. If the RL act it would be great for us because we could go to shuds on the last day of the season needing say a 20pt win to nick 4th!!

What about a Hudds Win a Wembley, followed by a week's long pi$$ up?

We have a mathematical chance to catch Hudds on points. But the goal difference is to much i think Hudds have +216 and we have +128. So Hudds would have to loose both games by a big margin and we would need to win both by a big margin.

Think 5th is better place to Finnish than 4th as at least you get 1 home game.

No its not. It is sudden death of you finish 5th. If you finish 4th you get a 2nd chance if you lose and if you win you get a week off and by winning would get a home game in the round after depending on who gets picked by the leading team.

If the playoffs made it better to finish 5th than 4th then they really would be stupid.

Thats why I said close as you finished in 9th in 2006 still think the top 8 aint sorted yet.
