| Yes he had a good game for salford tonight which will do him a world of good for confidence, however his defensive frailties are still a concern, if he missed the ball for the intercept then hull were in for a stroll in at corner, he shot out of line into no-mans land repeatedly and was consistently out of position.
That being said, he did well to cover for wilshere a few times and looked quite sharp in attack, I'd like to see him get game time at centre as that is his position after all to help him develop there or what would be the point in this, isn't the loan deal meant to help him develop as a centre and player, how can he when he is played out of position.

I know his preferred position is centre but to tbh i think the lad is just called that he is playing first team rugby

did cover for wilshire a few times.but he had no choice.bad day at the office
for wilshere.which was unusual for him.

Goulding had to cover for Tim Smith in the early games this season but Smith was such a liability he hadn't got a cat in hells chance of doing so. Result? Goulding gets dropped.

So did Smith.
Phil Clarke called it right last night, Goulding had three chances to win Wigan the game v Hull, and took the wrong options. That was why he was dropped.

| Not Wigan standard, has been given the chances to cement his place over the last 2 seasons, players from other teams have done it in less time, the fact is he is simply too greedy, a glory hunter just like Wagga

I don't think Noble can win really can he?
We had a weaknes defensively down that side. Goulding's defense is ok, but not perfect, and we all know about Smith. Noble dropped the two players that where losing us games and tightened up the side. Problem solved.
Wrong decision though...NOBLE OUT
