| To be fair Warrington have already sold more than Wigan brought to Warrington earlier this year (yes capacity was less but the match only sold out in the few days leading up to the game so plenty of opportunity for Wigan fans to buy more tickets) and 4.5k will still be one of the top 5 away followings to any ground out of all of the regular season I'd imagine with the top following probably likely.
The Warrington following will be fantastic, the Wigan following will be probably the best it's been in living memory - let's just enjoy the game and not worry about it too much.

Agree that our crowds are increasing but that seems to be taking it a bit far (unless your under the age of about 15)

What's total capacity now, then? Has it reduced from the 24,048 previous figure?

29281_1270406980.jpg When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

How the Premier League table would look if teams were awarded points for famous fans...
20th: Wigan
The Latics don't have any fans, yet alone any famous ones.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_29281.jpg |

Lets get this right you said..............
"not all wire fans will be in north stand,so if north not sold out doesnt mean 6k wont be there"
So if theres only going to be 3.5K in the North were will the other 2.5K be? On the carpark?
Personal insults..Wooooooosshhhhhh missed that one
.........................................................................................................................................
Looks like we maybe struggling to sell ES1, hows about we just chuck one of those black tarpolene sheets over them like Latics do to make the stand look full? We may aswell rip those ES1 seats out any way as tics havent been selling them for the past 2 seasons.

I thought the capacity was 25,004. Why is it reduced for H + S reasons? I would have thought that there was more potential re H + S problems for a big football match. Or is it the old 'rugby fans are larger than football fans' question? Out of interest re further bragging rights for yourselves over the Latics, what was their biggest crowd last season?

The crowd is cut because the stands are unreserved so seats have to be left for h + s. At latics everyone is allocated a seat so its ok (as it is for England/GB games)
The capacity is 25117 I think

| The stadium capacity is 24,826 as far as I'm aware, although I imagine that could change regularly depending on health and safety and other factors.

I'll be very surprised if you don't beat that. This is a huge weekend for RL. The Hull, Wigan and Leeds games should draw nigh on 60,000 fans between them and overall the weekend should draw well over 80,000 to all SL matches. What publicity has the RFL given to this? Absolutely nothing.

Why cant the North(Away) stand be allocated seats tickets, there is no need for it to be unreserved like the South
H & S gone stupid IMHO

The tics deal was for the last 3 home games for £12 wereas ours was limited to 1000 seats in each stand for a tenner, tics loyal fans could have as many deals as they wanted.
If theres a £5 a ticket deal, theres a couple of hundred seats left, get 'em bought and sell them for a tenner a piece.
