It is a good thing if they only get to play reserves at Wigan.
Saints have an U16 Academy Tour to Aus scheduled for 2009, Tyrer and Smith had season long loans arranged months ago with Celtic Crusaders. I loathe Saints doing things better than ourselves. |

Exactly! Someone asked if there's any plans to improve the ground at Orrell. It's only used for academy games where attendances can't be too high so don't see the need to spend what little money we have on it. That money could be better spent elsewhere. |

Can anyone clarify how we only have £20K left on the cap if we have made an offer to Bird?
Surely we have £20K left plus whatever we offered Bird?
The alternative is we offered less than £20K for Bird and this would never fly (sorry)
