Plenty to be cheerful about after that game. Bevan's 7 sensational tries, Fields 5 assists and 2 tries, a full lengther and a backed up try which was possibly the best of the day.
Plus Smith's stunning goalkicking accuracy. He must have nailed at least 4 from the touchline from memory.

I’ve been critical of fields link up play but he was superb at it today.
We’ve witnessed history tonight guys. Was simply brilliant to watch.
He’s got the super league record but we always have that * next to it that he only played 60 minutes.
I’m cool with whatever happens with French next year, obviously I’d love him to stay. But if he got a good NRL deal I’d be made up for him, seems a great guy, I briefly met him a few weeks ago and he was a class act.
Let the media keep talking Saints up. We have the cup in the bag, are enjoying 2 superstars put on a show every week, and we’ll be a tough team to beat come playoff time.
Loving this year.
