Less than one minute before that concussion he deliberately attempted to stamp on Scott grixs leg- luckily for Scott he missed as he happened to slightly move his leg - but considering he did it openly in front of the cameras it appears as if his decision making is just as diabolical when not concussed.

I am not "berating others" merely pointing out a player who has been at best average and often poor didn't go from that to being a player who should be picked for Wembley on the basis of one game. As I said even in the thread you started there were several contrary opinions and so I think you are stretching it a bit to suggest this is the case.



I have not singled out his discipline as an issue in any of the recent threads. I have confined myself to commenting on his ability as a player and IMO he is poor. He doesn't have much impact when he takes the ball in, his defence is all over the place and his "aggression" is all show with arms and legs flailing about in the tackle. Craig Smith and Quentin Pongia were props with genuine aggression and Laukai isn't remotely on the same page as them in that regard. He has an offload but that is about it.



You should try that yourself.

Would you not put Taylor as our starting prop with Flower with Dudson or Powell on the bench Hopkins can play S/R OR L/F.

On current form, our starting props for the rest of this season, and indeed next season should be Flower & Taylor.

I'd play him, Dudson, Lauaki and probably Spencer next week in Catalan.

I reckon Lauaki will get a 1 game ban for the stamp attempt. I would bring Andy Powell in next week to see how he is getting on.

If he'd have wanted to stamp on the Hudds player he wouldn't have missed from so close.

Maybe in slow motion it looked dodgy and given the commentary by Dumb and Dumber maybe it looked a lot worse than it was.

I'm sure the review and if necessary disciplinary panels will sort it out.

Surely you can't pick up a ban for attempted foul play? A player wouldn't get a ban for missing with a high shot or a trip.

Whether he receives a ban or not it needs looking at by the RfL- it wasn't a single incident-it was clearly a dirty tactic by the player and it stinks!

Quite agree. It's a horrible thing to do to a defenceless player on the floor but because there was no contact and no foul play he surely can't be charged with anything?

A letter advising him to cool his jets a little may be what's in order.
