great to have the choice between flanagan and farrell, these two have been our best players in the reserves this year along with davies and they both deserve their chance. personally i think flanagan will get the chance on experience alone.

Not unusual to have a game breaker on the bench, an exciting back that can add something to the game.
Far less predictable for the opposite than another second row forward.

| WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE WHO YOU PUT ON THE FIELD ON SATURDAY? CRUSADERS, AFTER LAST WEEK, ARE DOWN TO ABOUT 14 FIT PLAYERS. THERE WERE NO PLAYERS LEFT HALF WAY THROUGH THE SECOND HALF AGAINST QUINS TO PUT ON AS INTERCHANGES. THEY PLAYED THE LAST 30 MINUTES WITH WHAT WAS LEFT WITHOUT INJURIES. WE EVEN HAD RYAN O'HARA AT ONE STAGE DEFENDING ON ONE LEG AS HE HAD A PULLED CALF MUSCLE AND NO ONE TO TAKE HIS PLACE ON THE FIELD.

It makes a difference to alot of Wigan fans because they see this game as a chance to give a couple of deserving youngsters an ooportunity in the first team.
Even if your down to the bare bones i can see you putting up a good fight. We're going to be missing our real driving forces in the pack in Hock and O'Loughlin so that will help you. This must also be seen as a pretty big game for Celtic and i'd imagine they'll be bang up for it.

Having Ainscough on the field would be a massive threat in attack.
Interchange wise he could come on for practically any of the 3/4 line. Richards, Roberts and Phelps can FB. Phelps can play centre.
Just about ulitising Ainscough if we need that spark. There's no one else available (minus Feka) who can come on and change the game.

Leave out Mike Mc and then interchange Tommy with Riddell and Phelps to Stand Off Pat to Fullback and Ainscough on the wing simple

The caps lock is a key on a computer keyboard. Pressing it will set a keyboard mode in which typed letters are capitalized by default and (on some computers) in lower case when the shift key is pressed; the keyboard remains in this mode until caps lock is pressed again.

But they weren't good enough during their time at Wigan, with the possible exception of Wild. I think Phil Clarke commented on something similar during the Huddersfield game this weekend. He mentioned the fact that Mossop couldn't get in Wigan's team but could get in Huddersfield's.
Now obviously Huddersfield are playing well but when I look at their team there's very few players I'd swap, like for like, with the Wigan team. The question needs to be asked, why are they fourth and we're 8th/9th? Is it purely down to coaching or am I dillusional about the quality of Wigan's players?'" '"
Sorry but you and a lot more are dillusional. The guys mentioned above would be fine along with the best of our current home players together with a reduced number of quality imports, all empoyed in an efficient coaching regime.

| I would play Ainscough on the wing with Phelps as sub.
If Ainscough came on as sub, players would have to be switched around which is disruptive to all our planned moves.
However with Phelps as sub, he could slot into any position without any disruption.

| Regarding the make up of the team I do think we have too many foreign players but that is not our fault it is the fault of the RFl and something they have allowed to get out of hand.
In my opinion though it is not essential to have nor should anyone expect a team full of Wigan lads. It is totally unrealistic to expect the Wigan area to produce a team with a realistic chance of silverware.
I think that there is clearly a need for a Wigan presence but i think we have it about right at the moment, it depends on the quality of player, i for one would like to see a team made up of British lads with a maximum of 4 overseas players in it, I do not care where the British players come from as long as they are up to the task.
