Think this is the opinion of a lot of people on here mate. I dont agree that we should sign someone who could become better if they are coached better. A player moving from the 8th placed club (no disrepect intended btw) to 2nd place, current cup holders and last years champions, should have earned the move by putting in outstanding performancnes week in week out. Such as how Myler got his move from Salford, or Shenton, or LMS, and why Chase is being linked with a move away from Cas. I dont feel this has been the case for Lauaki and bringing him to Wigan seems a massive risk that we dont really need to take (for a non fed player especially).

I think I'm in the minority here who's pleased about Lauaki.

The first task is obviously to sort out his temper (shortly followed by his ridiculous haircut), but we saw with Coley how a player can improve drastically under the right coaching.

His discipline has been much improved this year, his main problem is that he is lazy, poor defender and doesn't run his weight.

Because he is Tongan, has big hair every and starts a fight every few games everyone thinks he is a potential monster, but he really isn't. There are much better English players out there, I would guess that some of your under 20's are better than him.

Jebus. Sounds like we might be signing a mixture of Feka and Karl Pryce.

I would much rather us sign Rob Parker than Luauki, Luauki has the potential but hasn't got the attitude as he's too lazy.

If it were up to me I'd sign, enquire, make an offer etc for Larne Patrick to replace Cloey, Lomax to replace Deacon and Tom Briscoe or Ben Jones Bishop to go at right Centre. Might be pie in the sky but its worth a shot.

Its not as if I'm after signing Benji Marshall or Lockyer, th signings I would like would cost a few quid in transfer fees but are at the start of their careers so we would benifit ten fold from the$, better than signing Luauki who is Wakefield standard Imo.
