I never cared for Paul & Tommy Bishop, Dave Chisnall ( walked two steps and fell over with the ball for the tackle), 'knees' Joynt (who took 10 minutes to get off the ground after every tackle) , Shane Cooper (dirty beggar) and that beggar who cleared off to go on the films, Adam Fogerty.
There's a few more, but that will do for now.

I can't really bring myself to hate the likes of Wellens. I feel sorry for him actually, all those medals and deep down he must know he was never world class. If at his peak he'd had a bit (now a lot  ) more pace he'd have been an absolute world beater, the best FB of the modern era.
Surprised there haven't be even more mentions of Wilkin amongst the recent players.
Oh, almost forgot Gary Connolly, their 90's golden boy. I hated him. What a superb young player he was. Then he suddenly stopped playing for Stains and I never saw him in a McEwan's lager shirt again. I wonder what became of him... |
