Would love for us to go to Australia and win it. One of the most magic matches ever was the Brisbane v Wigan match when we turned them over in their own backyard.
It would be a massive ask but IF we were to win the thing nobody could argue against us being the true World Champions, something that will always be doubted if we play them in this country.
Bring it on I say, if its worth doing its worth doing right. The biggest historical names in the game going to war in their own backyard. I am pumped already at the prospect!

For the good of the game it needs to played in Oz. It is nothing but a pre season friendly at the moment. As I have said in another thread we need to move the WCC to the end of the season and slap a big prize on it and play it in alternate countries year on year.
Shorten the regular season, still have the playoffs, week off then WCC. Have international warm ups same weekend. Another week off then kick off the four nations. To extend this game we need to improve the game on a world stage. First thing first is some consistancy then build on it.

Agreed.
Personally although it is never going to happen I would like to see a 10 team SL and then for us to follow the format suggested above. At the moment we are diluting the quality of the game, a team team comp would be the perfect length of season with all the extras you mention easy to accommodate. |

Weve had countless WCC over here involving smaller clubs such as Dulls,Stains,Whinos but hey ho a proper club comes along and they want it over there.
I Hate the RFL s. Play the game over here. Stand up to the Aussies wanting their own way. Or Lets balls our early season up, win or lose in Sydney Wigan will suffer in the league.
Think of the fans who have supported the club through the recent lean times, many who can't afford to go to Aus for a one off game.
I'm on plane next week with Owdpopularsider and at a push could probably go back for the WCC. I wont on principle though because i really detest the way we the fans are treated by the powers that be. Get some feckin professional organisers in the RFL headquarters.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
