| Madge is not the type to risk players. We've seen how careful he has been this season.
I think Amos is fit and ready. Providing nothing goes wrong during the week I believe he will play. No insider-knowledge, but I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if he played. A massive boost to the side. He is such an awesome talent. The most dangerous player in Super League with ball in hand before he got injured. An open space shown and he will capitalise.
Madge also says in the interview that Harrison Hansen isn't too far away. That would be another massive boost. HH works like a trojan in defence, but was also getting better going forward. He has bulked up a bit I believe.
We have players coming back at the right time. A massive headache for Madge when they are all fit.

I agree with your earlier post about him. People like him because he tries hard, he's very brave in the tackle and seems 100% committed to the club.
When he hit some form at the end of last year, his defensive positioning had improved and he was coming into the attacking line very well at the other end of the park. Afraid he hasn't recaptured that form this year and competition for places (even with injuries) means he might struggle to get another chance.

From recent form, why would you play Goulding over Pryce?

I agree, I think this is the best side to face Leeds with Goulding ahead of Pryce and Roberts in his best position.

Goulding's performed well in wins over Warrington, Leeds and Saints. I trust he can do a job!
Pyrce is really improving and showing he can play but he's not performed in a big game yet this year. Although I think alot of people have been getting carried away with his performances, like madge said credit for his tries goes to the people in the middle.
I think at the minute Gouldings a safer bet to play in the Challenge Cup Quarter Final.

Agreed. Plus, Goulding scores the "hard" tries that KP so far hasn't.

Hudds at the magic weekend?
His last one at the weekend?
One of the ones at Widnes?
Goulding scored a quality one against Hull but thats all thats between them.

| tbh I'd go with Pryce over Goulding. Daz's defense hasn't been great the last few weeks. He's developed a habit of flying in off the wing and getting caught out by a miss pass. Happened more than once against Huddersfield

Well Saturday really is his oppurtunity to well and truly prove all the doubters wrong, of which I am still one. I hope he proves me wrong, I really do.
Re: Amos Roberts
I'm chuffed he may play BUT if he does I wouldn't expect him to light up Headingly. His injury was quite bad and it may well take time for him to get back into his stride.
Having said that, he really is an un-predictable player, the type where one minute he seems to be having a quiet game and the next he explodes into life and rips the opposition defence to bits.
I'm going to go for a Wigan win by 4 on Saturday. Leeds certainly won't lie down for us and they themselves have a strong side out.
