Against Quins?
He played a full game in the centre and went ok i thought, certainly not a bad performance.

I've only just logged on and this is only the second thread I've read and yet again it's been derailed by pointless arguments and name calling. I suggested on a recent thread that some people need to read this
forums.rlfans.com/viewtopic.php?t=417842
And I'm suggesting it again. The next time this happens people will be taking a break from this site.

Aye, although I think there's a massive difference between moaning about a player/coach on here or down the pub as opposed to booing/jeering/groaning etc about them during a game. The whole noise surrounding Pryce was embarrassing from the 'fans'.

Agree, there are ways of hopefully intellignetly expressing ones negative views, to boo a player when injured and every time they get the ball is not an intelligent way to do this.
It is something i would associate with Football not Rugby League.

I can't see what they thought it was actually achieve for us to boo him?
At a push you can condone booing the team off after a poor performance but to actually boo one of your own players during a tight match like last night is shocking.
Shocking attitude and I’d love some of the fans who did it to come and here and actually state what they thought it would achieve.

Only just seen this thread & it's been said by others but the attitude of some 'fans' towards Pryce was pathetic. The cheering when he went down injured was one of the most depressing things I've heard. Sure, he looked slow & a bit clueless but how the hell is he supposedto improve and get his confidence back when he hears that? I honestly think some people are happiest when we fail so they can have a good moan. They weren't kids doing this either - it was people in their 40's in the south stand. Grow up, for crying out loud

People need to understand the difference between expressing an opinion after the match in the pub or on a message board to what goes on while a match is in progress.
I don't know about anyone else who posts on here but when a match is on whoever is on the pitch gets my support whether I rate them or not. Whatever anyone else does is up to them.
After the match I was always under the impression the pub or a place like this was where fans dissected the game, the players performance and whatever the coach did or did not do. People will disagree and will rate players and coach differently.
It is not sacrilege to say a player had a bad game when they did. Nor is it to disagree with anyone's point of view about that provided personal or snide comments get left out.
What really is not acceptable IMO is the implied censorship that people really had better not say anything negative about any player or the coach in case they get upset. Does anyone really think the small number of regular posters on here is that influential?
Any player with half a brain would not go near this place.
This season I have seen negative comments about every single player in our side bar none. Including S Tomkins who was apparently selfish v Les Cats.
Does that mean we should adopt the approach of the sun shines out of their backsides? Of course not.
As to the game I defy anyone on here not to groan when a player makes a mistake. It's a natural reaction but it does not imply derision for the player and is more to do with disappoitment at what just happened.
I didn't hear it but apparently Goulding got some stick from people chanting in the east stand "traitor" and "Saltford reject".
If it happened then that [i is[/i IMO unnaccaptable but after the match on here the people are entitled to their opinion and people should respect it.
If they don't then they can go somewhere else. That is a hint by the way for those who do not (not you AJ, I just hijacked you post to make a point!).

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |
