One thing that bothers me is Nsemba’s play the ball. It’s so poor plants ball earlier than he needs to and laboured with the foot. The defence is given the green light to move up and it puts the next carrier under real pressure even after Junior has won contact and we should be on the front foot.

It’s been annoying me for a while it’s so basic and easy to fix but does us damage every time he carries the ball.

Peet has royally messed up by picking practically the same side. A loss in the bigger picture isn’t so bad but we’ve lost more gas in the tank from picking similar players, particularly in the pack. Really bad day at the office.

I feel the game was lost first half, we had all the ball and territory but couldn’t make it count, was always going to be likely we would tire in the second half but we should have been ahead and trying to hold on for a win.
