Not sure about Cooper downing tools he missed last weeks game with Covid,i would also start with Mago tonight and make him do at least 15 minutes in his first stint he needs to build his fitness up

I think the Covid story was convenient.

I thought the move was a necessity to bring someone else in (Dufty was mentioned)? If you don’t have to get rid of him I can 100% see why he is blocking the move. Yes it’s a bit stubborn and if he’s going to keep Cooper out of the first team it’s a bit of a slap in the face for a long time servant but Cooper coming could give Wigan a boost that could potentially push us to Grand Final glory for one of Warringtons rivals.
On a side note I am still shocked that Warrington fans are backing Powell as much as they are, I keep hearing he’s changing culture, this isn’t his squad etc but for me he’s brought in a lot of his own signings and has a strong squad to work with and whatever he’s changing seems to be having a negative affect on the squad as they’re going backwards. IMO Peet took over a team in a worse state but there is no way I would be happy if we where in Warringtons current position and I would want a change. |
