Just Whitehaven in the cup I think.
Total guess but I see Lomax playing but not Grace.

I wish that you had a full team out.
Ive never known any set of supporters bleat as much over a few injuries/potential suspensions.
Compared to Good Friday your 17 will be stronger with the inclusion of Matautia offset by the loss of Dodds. So not a bad outcome and one could argue an even stronger pack for you to demolish a shoite Wigan pack as many of your clan describe our pack..
If you don't win by 30 points with your improved pack then I will only conclude that your lads played the worst that they have done since dear old Cunningham was still in charge.
For us to win we will have to play our best rugby (and better if that's possible) for a full 80 minutes and Saints will have to play well below their best. We haven't put in an 80 minute performance for the last 3 and half years bar one game so something pretty extraordinary will need to occur for us to do so on Saturday.
You guys just need to turn up and play to your high standard.
On paper this is now a gimme for your lads. No excuses.
I hope we win you guys know you will win.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if both Lomax and Grace missed out. Even if they do we still have a very good chance of course but it’s by no means the done deal some on here seem to think it is, you’d think we were playing with 15 v 13 on the pitch the way some bang on.
Getting our first choice back row back out there will be really helpful, albeit shifting Roby away from hooker is something that worries me. He really makes us tick from DH and Lussick isn’t in the same league as him.

| Lomax or not St Helens pack will probably have too much for us.
The key for us is discipline, we need to respect the ball and not give away penalties, if they are lacking fire power we can’t give them cheap territory.

This is why I'm not too sure how some pundits seem to fancy Wigan for this game. On the BBC podcast the guests were saying Wigan are in red hot form and I don't see it that way at all. We've been entertaining to watch which is great and Im really pleased with how we're going but in terms of recent quality of performance we've actually been pretty slack in defence and careless with the ball. We've conceded over 20 points in two consecutive games and we'll need to produce a far tighter performance to have a chance.
Our outside backs in particular will need to do a far better job in managing Makinson, Hurrell and co - I hope the likes of Bibby, Thornley and Marshall have it in them but I can't say I'm confident on that one.

I got the sense that BBC piece with Henderson and Kear tipping us was to hype the game up.

| Yes, very much so. I wouldn't be as defensive as Itchy, though. I certainly don't think we'll be hammered, and I think we have a decent chance. But, as has been pointed out, O'Neill and our outside backs will need to be very good.

You've got virtually a full team out so no excuses whatsoever.
If you dont want to move Roby play one of your reserve half backs. It really is that simple. It's what we are doing.
To have 2 or 3 players missing at this time of season is a good place to be so on paper and after your 18 point margin of victory only a few weeks ago, you guys should be hyper confident against a team where most of your fans think we are shoite and maybe only one or two of our lads could get into your side.
A side chasing a consecutive fourth GF title and successive CC finals with the best side in the competition and for me the best defence that I've seen in 50 years of watching the game against a team whose pack can be dominated and bullied with a one trick pony should be a done deal.
I suspect a few Saints fans are getting their excuses in early because they think (I don't include you FTV in this clan) that they are unbeatable unless they have chronic injuries, play a weakened team or the referee is bent.
I didn't think that we would win on Good Friday but I think as a team we got more out of the defeat than you did with the win.
I hope we win and I actually think that we are capable of winning this time around.
Several of our players had a poor game on GF and I'm sure that this will be addressed tomorrow.
I truly hope that a fit Lomax plays and that Jake Bibby scores the winning try. Bibby scoring the winning try would make the victory that much sweeter.
I just have a feeling that we will surprise you with something different in our play over and above an improved defence. Hurrell and Welsby are both inclined to make mistakes on a regular basis and I'm hoping that both of these guys will be subjected to specified pressure throughout the 80 minutes. Cust could be the guy to pull out a few surprises.
I like a bet and my money has gone on us despite playing an almost fully fit opposition.

I'm confident that O'Neil will be fine and that Hurrell won't get the space and time that he got on GF.
My "defensiveness" was very much tongue in cheek.
I tire of fans bleating when their team has one or two injuries so was trying to even out some logic to the squad available to Saints and who have played less games than us due the team played by Saints at Cas.
On paper, squad available, rested players and very recent history Saints should quite literally walk it. I don't that they will.

| According to some of their fans not one Wigan player would get in that super duper team.
I honestly think that we could pull this off and if that happened how sweet that would be.
Some excuses would be flying about if they did lose-
Refs fault
injuries affected them
we cheated
a player should have been sin binned/sent off (only ours of course)
We was lucky
Mars was not in alignment with jupiter
we was offside all through the game
we slowed the play of the ball illegally
Cant wait for this never wanted Wigan to win as much.
BUT-if we lose best team won !

you forgot the one about the ref actually applying the offside rule to Saints and they weren't used to this.....
