Sadly, I doubt it.
This guy seems to just be making it up as he goes along (although we're not helping ourselves, either)

| And why on earth do we still not seem to have a single player who's capable of making the kick for a conversion?
Wire score - You know 100% that Ratchford will convert it.
We score, it's less than 50/50 on the conversion.

Bit harsh in these conditions, let’s judge after a month or so.
Very pleasing performance even with the ref trying to levelling it up and us chucking on the kids at the end.

| Couldn't get to the game, and don't have Wigan TV, so could someone tell me the score and, more importantly how we performed. Cheers

| Very enjoyable.
It's that early days that you can't really say that it's early days, but it looks like we've got our recruitment right. Plenty of size and Cust took a good couple of options on the last too.
Hopefully it transfers into the season as we've got a tough start.

| Refs whistle had a fantastic workout second half. He’s put it in a superb position going in to the season.

| Whilst you need to convert your chances - Field bombed a sitter, Singleton knocked on over the line & we got held up twice too. On another night they could have been another couple in the bag.
It was a very comfortable night Vs a strong Wire side.

| Very pleasing, and signs looked good in the first half with somewhere near a full-strength side. Some disruption in the second half, with a lot of kids getting a run out, but still restricted a team full of internationals to one try. That offload from Mago was just lovely, he will be a real force in SL this year I am sure. Nobody had a poor game, even Sam Powell looked back to the better form of a couple of years ago.

| The team for HKR will be interesting now. If Hardaker is fit then I guess it’ll be 2 from him, Bibby and KPP for the centre spots. The pack will be the same as tonight, so it’ll just be the bench to work out. We know Mago will take a spot, so that leaves three others to pick. I think I’d go with Byrne, Smithies and O’Neill but it could just as easily be three others.

| Just got back, very encouraging signs indeed. Very bittersweet afternoon, fantastic to get the result but saddened to discover the need for a minutes silence due to the passing of Des Drummond. Incredible player (especially at Leigh) who had a tremendous rivalry with Henderson Gill back in the early 80's. RIP.

| Really impressed with Mago again, KPP is a handful at centre too, Field showing good signs and is everywhere in attack. Thornley ran his weight today too.
With our starting 4 props being Mago, Singleton, Ellis and 1 of Byrne/Havard/Ollie P its nice to finally have a set of decent props. Massively impressed with Mago.
